Convergence Cigar Series Tannat Finish is a whiskey crafted for the ritual of smoke. A full year in Tannat wine casks brings deep, oxidative character—dark fruit, warm spice, and a slow‑building richness that mirrors the cadence of a well‑paced cigar. The rye’s natural structure holds its ground, creating a layered pour where tannin, oak, and fruit converge into a long, smoldering finish. Built for pairing, it’s a whiskey that doesn’t compete with a cigar—it completes it.

Color: Deep garnet‑tinged amber, reflecting its year in Tannat wine casks. The glass shows dark fruit hues at the rim with a rich, oily viscosity that hints at structure and depth.
Nose: Dark fruit and oxidative warmth lead—blackberry, dried cherry, and plum—layered with cigar‑box spice, toasted oak, leather, and a touch of cocoa. A slow‑unfolding aroma that mirrors the first third of a cigar: rich, warm, and steady.
Palate: Bold and structured with Tannat’s signature depth. Notes of dark berry compote, warm baking spice, toasted wood, and a subtle tannic grip that plays beautifully with smoke. The rye’s backbone keeps everything lifted, giving the sip a balanced mix of fruit, spice, and slow‑burning warmth designed to stand up to a cigar.
Finish: Long, smoldering, and layered. Dark fruit fades into oak, leather, and gentle tannin, leaving a lingering warmth that echoes the final draw of a cigar. The oxidative character stretches the finish, making each sip feel deliberate and unhurried.
